Code of conduct

Short, plain, applies to everyone.

GTM✕CON is built to be a room worth being in — for buyers, builders, sponsors, speakers and crew alike. This code applies to everyone, at every part of the event, online and in person.

The expectation

Treat other attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff with respect. Disagree with ideas as hard as you like — argue the number, not the person. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation and disruptive behaviour of any kind are not tolerated, in sessions, in the hallway, or at any evening event.

Specifically not okay

Unwelcome comments about identity, appearance or background; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; unwanted physical contact or attention; sustained disruption of talks or events; and photography of attendees who have opted out at registration.

If something happens

Tell a crew member — identifiable by badge — or email conduct@gtmxcon.com. Reports are handled promptly and discreetly. Organisers may remove anyone from the event, without refund, for violating this code.

Photography & consent

The event is photographed for future promotion. An opt-out marker is available at registration. We do not publish a recognisable face that has opted out, and we never use an attendee's image in paid advertising without explicit permission.
