ServiceNow has made its CRM AI specialists available as part of a broader expansion of its Autonomous Workforce, giving revenue and service teams agents that work alongside humans across the customer lifecycle.
The specialists cover sales qualification and quoting, order fulfillment, invoice disputes, service and renewals. A case management specialist can triage, solve and escalate cases across channels, and generate custom quotes from meeting transcripts. ServiceNow says its Autonomous CRM already resolves over 100 million customer cases, orchestrates over 16 million orders and configures more than seven million quotes each month, on a platform running more than 100 billion workflows a year. The CRM specialists join earlier ones for IT, employee service, and security and risk.
The company points to customers including PayPal and Honeywell among the results of its AI platform. Honeywell's chief digital technology officer said its AI assistant "Red" eliminated the majority of service desk conversations. Alongside the specialists, ServiceNow expanded its AI Control Tower to discover, observe, govern, secure and measure AI across systems. Governance now extends to the Microsoft Agent 365 ecosystem, with visibility into AI running on Google Cloud, AWS, Anthropic and Microsoft Azure.
That last piece is the strategic point. By governing agents built by other vendors, ServiceNow is positioning itself as an orchestration layer above any single vendor's agents.
“By governing agents built by other vendors, ServiceNow is positioning itself as an orchestration layer above any single vendor’s agents.”
For a RevOps leader, the pitch is orchestration, not another point solution to bolt onto an already crowded stack.
