Announced at Dreamforce, Siemens now runs Salesforce Agentforce across its inbound pipeline: two AI agents engage and qualify every lead before it reaches any of the company's roughly 18,000 sellers.
Siemens was receiving over 2,500 unqualified leads a month with no way to know which were worth a seller's time. The leads now flow into Sales Cloud, where an engagement agent and a qualification agent work in tandem. The first uses CRM data to personalize outreach and moves interested prospects along. The second vets each one and hands the strongest opportunities to the right seller. Salesforce says Siemens now engages 100% of its inbound leads across 132 countries.
The announcement also pairs Agentforce with Siemens' Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management, putting engineering-grade answers directly into sales, service and customer workflows. Questions that once had to go back to engineering can now be answered in seconds inside the customer workflow. The companies also plan to automate partner onboarding, with an AI sales development agent creating personalized pitches and booking qualified prospective distributors with partner account managers.
This is the industrial version of what enterprise revenue teams keep telling us this year: lead qualification is the first function agents take over, not the last.
